Our Restaurant Is a Culmination of Years of Perfecting the Pizza Pie.
After years of running the award winning Frangelli’s Italian Bakery in South Philadelphia John decided to try something new. He started making artisan pizza pies and selling them on Friday and Saturday nights from the bakery. The response from customers was overwhelmingly positive. Soon he would find his pizzas selling out fast and orders arriving days in advance. It was a hit! The people loved his pizza!
When deciding to move to Florida, John wanted to start a new chapter in his life. He decided to open a Pizza shop in his new town of Largo, FL. That is how Momma Joan’s Pizza was born!
We hope to bring the same values that made Frangelli’s Bakery a success to Momma Joan’s Pizza. We pride ourselves on providing our customers with a clean friendly atmosphere, good value, and of course delicious food.
